Masks and COVID-19

This is a short - but very important - post.

I have a compromised immune system. I have family members who have severely compromised immune systems. I have friends in the same boat, including my gentleman friend. Please ... be compassionate and responsible. Continue wearing a mask while in public. Get vaccinated. Get tested for COVID-19 regularly (I test once a week, at least). 

We have seen that COVID-19 kills indiscriminately. Don't be the reason someone you know gets sick and dies.

The Grammy Awards

 It's awards season, y'all! Last weekend, we had the Oscars (and all its drama). This coming weekend, we have the Grammy awards. Now, I'm not saying I'm old (no comments from the peanut gallery, please), but I'm not familiar with most of the nominees (something I've noticed happening more and more frequently over the last decade).

This got me to thinking about some of my favorite signers and musicians. My tastes in music are a bit on the eclectic side - if you shuffle my iPod, you're likely to hear some opera, indie rock, alternative rock, country, gospel, Broadway, classical, and popera. I'll list some of my favorite musical artists below, and would love to hear some of yours as well.
