Today, my friend Kristina and I visited the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado. And we got the biggest surprise - we ran into Ms. Opal Lee! It was truly an honor to meet her, and as she held me hand and told me how important it was for everyone to be informed and get involved, I will freely admit I got misty-eyed. She is a national treasure, y’all!
